Bill Foster, a cornerstone in Detroit’s Jazz and cultural arts communities, needs our support in his recovery from surgery. Several longtime friends and Detroit Sound Conservancy have organized a fundraiser and tribute to provide for his caretaking and medical needs.

This Sunday from 5-9pm there will be a tribute, fundraiser and celebration at H.O.M.E. located at 18341 Van Dyke Detroit, MI 48234. 

Our dear friend and advisor Marion Hayden will be hosting a live jazz jam session featuring local heavy hitters and there will be a silent auction as well as a Tribute Roast/Toast to Mr. Foster. Food will be available. 

There is a suggested donation of $50 which can be given in advance at the GoFundMe link or paid at the door. Sliding scale is honored and all are welcome. Please contribute what you can. The venue is small, a short stay is fine. All funds raised at the event will go directly to support Mr. Foster.
