In 2017, the Detroit Sound Conservancy, in collaboration with Audio Rescue Team, Haute To Death and other partners, will rehabilitate the sound system to Club Heaven. We will have more details to share early in the new year.
Far too many of DJ Ken Collier’s “children” at Heaven were directly affected by AIDs. In addition, spaces like Heaven are far too rare now in 2016 in part because of AIDs. On #worldaidsday2016 we remember all the dancers past, present, and future, and pledge to keep their memories resonant.
