Abstract: The Detroit rock band Passage emerged in the early 1980s as a popular act in the fertile rock club scene of Metro Detroit. They recorded two singles, “You’re Somebody” and “Power of Words” that were released on 45s, and an EP titled “5×3” released in 1984. This collection contains both the commercial pressing of the singles and EP, as well as the masters recorded at Midtown in Royal Oak, MI. The collection also contains photographs and flyers documenting Passage’s participation in the rock clubs of the Metro Detroit area, with shows at TRAXX, Paycheck’s Lounge, The Ranch, and Butch’s, along with a list of clubs and contacts.
