Abstract: The Blue Bird Inn Oral Histories collect the memories and stories of musicians, employees, audience members, and club-goers of the Blue Bird Inn throughout its history. This is an in-progress and ongoing project with the goal of capturing the diversity of scenes, vibes and music that made the Blue Bird Inn such an historic space for Detroit jazz.
